VFLA Membership Application
Join the Vermont Foreign Language Association, Vermont’s professional organization for language teachers. Members benefit from VFLA programs including a poster contest, student writing contests, student certificates of merit, grants and scholarships, list serve announcements, electronic newsletters, and more. In additions, members become a part of a networking community of language teachers throughout the state.
Our membership year has changed to January 1 - December 31. Annual Membership is $40 with a discounted price of $30 for retired teachers and first time VFLA members.
VFLA presents its Spring Convention on Friday, March 16, 2012 at St Michael's College, entitled "Connecting Language Learning to Life: Exploring Community and Interdisciplinary Opportunities." Our goal for this convention is to showcase various projects, units and partnerships that currently exist in VT in which students connect their language learning to life outside of the classroom. The key-note address will be presented by Tong Chen, Vermont Teacher of the Year and Chinese teacher from Leland and Gray High School. Convention Registration is just $60 and includes continental breakfast and catered lunch.
